Faisal is a dedicated and detail-oriented legal professional and is an enrolled Advocate, developing expertise across a range of practice areas including Taxation, Banking and Finance, Labour and Employment Law, Telecommunication, Arbitration, Fintech and Company Matters. He brings strong analytical skills and a keen understanding of legal principles to his work, which allows him to manage complex cases, conduct thorough legal research, and draft precise legal documents that support client positions and case strategies.
He has drafted writ petitions in taxation matters for United Group, arbitration applications for corporate clients including Confidence Infrastructure Ltd., and income tax reference applications for YKK Pte Ltd. He also assisted his senior in preparing written statements under the Artharin Ain for CitiBank N.A. and Dutch-Bangla Bank Limited, petitions for BM&DC, handled applications in CR cases for Pathao Limited, and conducted extensive research on customs issues in a matter involving Coca-Cola Bangladesh. Alongside litigation, he has experience drafting, reviewing and vetting a wide range of corporate documents always ensuring precision and adherence to legal standards.
Faisal regularly provides well-researched legal opinions and strategic advice to corporate clients such as Grameenphone, Foodpanda, STS Group BD, Abul Khair Group and DBL Group on arbitration, commercial disputes, fintech compliance, employment matters and land-related issues. His contributions also include assisting in the drafting of the Memorandum and Articles of Association to facilitate the transition of Naafco Pharma Ltd. to a public company and preparing a comprehensive report on the proposed Personal Data Protection Ordinance, 2025.
Prior to joining the firm, he worked in the Legal, Secretarial and Corporate Governance Division of bKash Limited. Faisal obtained his LL.M. and LL.B. (Hons) from the University of Chittagong.
