A staunch advocate for workplace safety, Ms. Islam is frequently appointed as a committee member for handling sexual harassment complaints in both local and multinational organizations. Notably, she has been engaged by international NGO Pathfinder International for conducting investigations involving allegations of sexual harassment within their Health Service Delivery Program (NHSDP), which was backed by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).

Ms. Islam’s qualifications include being enrolled as an advocate of the Supreme Court of Bangladesh. She was called to the Bar of England and Wales in 2012 and holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Professional Legal Skills from City University, London, as well as a Master of Laws degree in International Business Law from BPP University, London.
