Ms. Ahsan is a highly experienced corporate law professional with extensive expertise in diverse legal areas. Her specialization encompasses taxation, telecommunication law, labour matters, construction and property law, mobile finance, Islamic finance, international business, Muslim family law, negotiable instruments, corporate matters, banking, commercial transactions, joint ventures, and e-commerce.

 

In addition to her exceptional legal skills, Ms. Ahsan actively serves as a committee member for handling workplace sexual harassment complaints. Her commitment to creating safe and inclusive work environments is evident as she provides her expertise to both local and multinational organizations/companies. Notably, she was engaged by Pathfinder International, an international NGO, to conduct investigative work related to a project supported by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID). With her comprehensive knowledge and proficiency in diverse legal areas, including the rapidly evolving field of e-commerce, media and telecommunication. 

 

She is a qualified Barrister, having completed the Bar Professional Training Course (PGDL) at City University, London, and being admitted to the Bar of England and Wales. With a Master of Laws degree in International Business Law from BPP University, London, she possesses a strong educational foundation.

 

In addition to her corporate practice, she has contributed to legal education as a lecturer at East West University, Bangladesh. She previously worked at another distinguished law firm, Amir & Amir Law Associates, working under the guidance of Barrister M. Amirul Islam.

With a focus on corporate structuring, cross-border transactions, demergers and acquisitions, Ms. Ahsan offers comprehensive legal advisory and documentation services across industries such as construction, labour and employment, telecommunications, taxation, regulatory compliance, and intellectual property law.

 

Ms. Ahsan provided comprehensive legal support encompassing transaction structuring, homologation, corporate due diligence, intellectual property protection, and customized tax solutions to facilitate the historic establishment of Royal Enfield’s manufacturing operations in Bangladesh. She advises Samsung R&D Institute Bangladesh (SRBD) with their legal concerns. She also provides legal consultancy services to Korean investors in Bangladesh in collaboration with the Embassy of the Republic of Korea on a regular basis. Additionally, she has closely worked with the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Bangladesh for tax structuring. She is known for her diligence, attention to detail, and commitment to understanding her clients’; needs. Through meticulous research and analysis, she provides tailored legal guidance that addresses specific situations.
